# SURVIVODRIVE > SURVIVODRIVE is a 256 GB survival USB drive that works with no internet. It holds all of English Wikipedia with images, 154 field manuals and reference collections (medicine and first aid, water, food and farming, building, power, radio, repair, survival), an offline map, and a local AI assistant that answers only from the drive's own books and cites numbered sources. It is built on a Kingston DataTraveler Duo (USB-A and USB-C) and ships in an IP67 travel case. Presented by the Continuance Bureau, a brand device. ## Key facts - Capacity: 256 GB (Kingston DataTraveler Duo, DTDEG2/256GB, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB-A and USB-C). - Library: about 218 GB across 11 departments; English Wikipedia with images is 127 GB. - Starts with one double-click on Windows 10/11 and macOS, and one command (sh start-linux.sh) on Linux and Raspberry Pi 4/5. Nothing is installed on the computer. - Phones, tablets and smart TVs on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot use the library and assistant through a web browser. Android can also run it standalone with the Kiwix and PocketPal AI apps on the drive. - AI assistant: Qwen3.5 models (2B, 4B default, 9B, 35B-A3B) run locally, chosen by the computer's memory (4 GB minimum, 6 GB for the default). It answers from retrieved passages with [n] citations and replies "Not on this drive." when the books do not cover a question. - EMERGENCY folder: a first-24-hours plan and the most important guides as plain PDFs that open on any device with nothing running. - Case: IP67 (dust-tight; immersion to 1 m for 30 minutes), -10°C to +80°C, polypropylene copolymer, watertight seal, automatic pressure release valve, 175 x 115 x 47 mm, 0.14 kg. The IP67 rating belongs to the case, not the drive. - Reflash Programme: owners are reminded every 2 years to reflash the drive online (no posting it anywhere), because flash memory slowly loses stored charge when unpowered, faster in heat. - It is not an operating system, it is not bootable, it is not EMP-proof, and its AI is not custom-trained: it uses retrieval over the drive's library. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.survivodrive.com/): what SURVIVODRIVE is and why it exists. - [Archive](https://www.survivodrive.com/whats-on-it): every title on the drive, by department, with sizes. - [Procedure](https://www.survivodrive.com/how-it-works): starting it on each device, sharing it, and how the offline AI assistant works. - [Specifications](https://www.survivodrive.com/specs): drive, case and contents specifications. - [Reflash Programme](https://www.survivodrive.com/reflash-programme): why flash drives lose data and the two-year reflash. - [Directives (FAQ)](https://www.survivodrive.com/faq): 99 answers. ## Optional - [Full text for LLMs](https://www.survivodrive.com/llms-full.txt): every FAQ answer and the full archive list.
